As an artist and student, I worked hard to develop art that combines traditional Native American themes with contemporary objects that speak to all of us who love art. |

MARIA CARMELA
Carmela’s art attempts to have viewers enter her own alternate environment that parallel personal experiences, imagination, and cultures. From those said attributes, stem an art style that is constantly developing. When conceptualizing her images, she finds that her characters represent certain personal aspects, which can sometimes serve as both self-portraits and simply portraits. While showcasing what best reflects her personality and non-spoken messages, this artist is on a journey of finding a balance between grit and softness. www.mariacarmelaart.com |
